ホーホー has exceptional eyesight and the ability to see in the dark. Hoothoot is most notable for its tendency to stand on one foot. While it occasionally switches feet, it does so at speeds near-impossible to see by the naked eye. Once standing, even if attacked, it never allows both feet to touch the ground. ヨルノズク can fly silently and turn its head at a 180° angle to increase its intellect; this resembles the action of a real owl observing its surroundings.

A gym leader would train this type of Pokemon by using a pool to build up its resistance so they don’t insta-die when it comes in contact with water. And how awesome is it to put Garchomp underwater to show more of its sharky side?

Deoxys has the ability to change its appearance to suit whatever situation it may be in. It can also regenerate any part of its body it may have lost; it appears that as long as its crystalline organ is intact, it can regenerate its entire body. When Rayquaza attacked Deoxys with a Hyper Beam at close range, it took Deoxys four whole years to fully recuperate. This unique Pokemon can learn Zen Headbutt, which focuses willpower to the user’s head before ramming the foe, and Psycho Boost, which creates a glowing multi-colored ball of energy using its tentacles and is then thrown at the enemy.

フーディン is said to have mastered every form of psychic ability, including, but not limited to… ESP, telekinesis, telepathy, psionic abilities, levitation, and even mind control. Alakazam is known for its excellent memory, as it can remember everything it had experienced since hatching as an Abra; it also has an IQ that exceeds 5,000, making it one of the most intelligent Pokemon. Alakazam is very proficient with the use of elemental punches, giving it the ability to cause serious damage to any foe that resists its psychic moves.

フシギダネ, thanks to the bulb on its back, is granted a variety of abilities such as Sweet Scent, Sleep Power, Leech Seed, Vine Whip, Razor Leaf, and Petal Dance. Bulbasaur is also considered the easiest starter to choose because of its advantage over the first two gyms. フシギソウ absorbs enough nutrients until its bud blooms into a large flower, signifying the final evolution. フシギバナ can manipulate nature, controlling roots and growing trees. Despite Venasaur’s size, it can charge very fast at its foes, and its Skull Bash or Body Slam has more force than a speeding armored truck. Additionally, it can leap great distances for such a heavy Pokemon; the only downside is that it creates a small quake as it lands, or break the platform it was originally standing on.

ボスゴドラ, as its name suggests, is aggressive, and claims mountains as its territory, patrolling at all times while mercilessly thrashing any&all violators. Its gouges in its armor are worn with pride as mementos from past battles.

アルセウス, according to legend, is thought to have made Sinnoh, the lake guardians, creation trio, and possibly the world. It is the only known creature to be able to use the attack known as Judgment, a technique that releases countless shots of light. Arceus is what you would call a “normal” legendary.

When Ruby was a child, he battled a Salamence that attacked him&Sapphire while the two were playing outside. After being defeated by Ruby&having scarred his forehead with its Dragon Claw, Salamence went on a rampage&destroyed a lab, freeing a captive Rayquaza in the process. This changed Ruby&Sapphire, as well as their views on Pokemon. In Ruby’s case, he felt he was too strong, and in order to keep himself back, he focused on contests. Sapphire, on the other hand, felt weak after the encounter&decided she had to become stronger&spent much of her time in the wild honing her battle skills. Years later, in the Emerald chapter, a trainer was shown to be in possession of a Salamence, with which he defeated Sapphire. While Sapphire acknowledged the man’s overwhelming skill, she also added that such a Pokemon was a hard one to fight against with her phobic old experience many years back. Salamence was the result of a powerful desire to fly, and thus, Shelgon was able to trigger the cells in its body to cause it to grow wings.

バンギラス is extremely strong, and their thick, rocky hides give it good resistance. Despite this, or possibly because the underside of its foot may be somewhat less well-armored than the rest of its body, it can have thorns stuck in its feet&the pain can enrage it. If angered, Tyranitar sets off outstanding earthquakes that can completely change the entire landscape, often representing a headache for cartographers, causing them to redraw maps.
