Drilled relentlessly by his father in waterbending, Noatak displayed a natural talent for it, quickly impressing Yakone&mastering the art. The young prodigy just as quickly successfully learned the rare&outlawed art of bloodbending to the point where he can perform it at any time, becoming exceptionally skilled&powerful at the ability. At the same time, he also learned his father’s special skill of psychic-bending, allowing him to perform his skills not only through physical movement, but also through sheer focus. As the son of the infamous bloodbending criminal, Amon was also able to use more common bloodbending techniques like body manipulation to an extremely powerful degree while exerting minimal effort. He could also levitate targets, subdue them, and knock them unconscious. With his skill in psychic-bending, he could also bloodbend multiple targets into submission while able to freely move in for other measures to finish his foes. Additionally, he exhibited the ability to resist bloodbending, even against his brother Tarrlok.
